The Amsterdam Village Police Department is seeking Auxiliary Officers to join our small town police department.
We are accepting applications for officers who are:
# Currently enrolled in a Police Academy
# A recent graduate of a Police Academy
# A recently retired Police officer
# Former officers, who wish to re activate their commission
# Or an officer changing occupations, but wish to maintain your commission.
We require only 8 hours per month.
Auxiliary Officers are permitted to work Paid off duty details.
